Rebecca Sappington, Ph.D., is associate professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Pharmacology and Neuroscience at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Her research examines the role of neuroinflammation in aging and neurodegeneration of the retina, specifically in glaucoma.
