Wonder Drake, M.D., is a professor of pathology, microbiology and immunology and Director of the Sarcoidosis Center of Excellence at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her research interests include the etiology and pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory states, including sarcoidosis. Her current research uses human tissues and mouse models to identify drivers of sarcoidosis clinical outcome, and to investigate possible infectious etiologies of sarcoidosis.
