Kim Unertl, Ph.D., is assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She directs the Department’s summer programs for high school and undergraduate students, and is co-PI of its NSF-funded Research Experience for Undergraduates site. She is also co-founder and co-director of the National Library of Medicine-funded AMIA High School Scholars Program.
