No matter what physical or mental improvements you’re aiming for, there’s a yoga pose to help.


You don’t have to twist yourself into an upside-down pretzel to reap the benefits of yoga. While some experienced yogis can accomplish moves that seriously challenge their strength and balance, there are a wide range of poses and sequences that are gentle enough for beginners.

Yoga accomplishes so many things — improving strength, flexibility and balance; decreasing stress and pain; and relaxing overtaxed muscles and minds. Even a short session of gentle stretching and rhythmic breathing can make you feel better.
