Video recipe: No-Bake Granola Bars

5 ingredients + 15 minutes = healthy snack


Most granola bars are expensive candy bars with a few nuts and catchy slogans. Make this healthy five-ingredient no-bake granola bar in less than 15 minutes, and keep it handy for your family all week. Remember: Smart snacking is an important part of every healthy diet.



  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup pitted dates (the fresh sticky ones work best)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter (almond butter also works)
  • 1 cup roasted almonds, loosely chopped

Mix them together and pour onto wax paper. Press them flat until they are tightly packed. We used the top of a kitchen mallet.
