A simple way to dress up clementines for a unique snack or dessert.

In the dead of winter, the bright zing of citrus is a welcome treat for the tastebuds. There’s nothing wrong with snacking on freshly peeled clementines all by themselves, but if you want to take these adorable little oranges to another level, try this super simple recipe. It’s sweet and tangy, with lots of vitamin C and antioxidants as a plus. Try nibbling on these pretty, mini, doctored-up orange slices for an afternoon snack or a waistline-friendly dessert.

Don’t get too hung up on whether to use tangerines versus mandarins verses clementines. Any will work with this quick recipe. Mandarins are a type of orange; tangerines and clementines are types of mandarins. Clementines are usually seedless, unlike tangerines, so if you’d prefer not to pick seeds out of the fruit before tossing them in the tea and honey called for with this recipe, stick with clementines.
