William Nobis, M.D., Ph.D., is an instructor in the Department of Neurology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His research is focused on elucidating the extended amygdala to brainstem circuits involved in respiratory dysfunction during seizures, in hopes that understanding this circuit will lead to prevention and treatment of sudden unexpected death in epilepsy patients (SUDEP).
