Stephen Deppen, Ph.D., is assistant professor of thoracic surgery and research assistant professor of epidemiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is a clinical epidemiologist with expertise in the evaluation of diagnostic tests, with specific interest in lung cancer. His research focuses on improving the diagnosis, treatment and outcomes of cancer and evaluating the efficacy of cancer treatments.
