Stacy Tanaka, M.D., is assistant professor of urologic surgery in Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Division of Pediatric Urology and medical director of the Spina Bifida Clinic at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Her research interest is in the use of stem cells derived from the bone marrow as a potential treatment for the injured fibrotic bladder.
