Robert J. Webster, III, Ph.D., is The Richard A. Schroeder Professor of Mechanical Engineering, and a professor of electrical engineering, otolaryngology, neurologic surgery, urologic surgery and medicine at Vanderbilt University. His research applies scientific and engineering tools to enhance medicine, particularly surgical robotics. He is a co-founder of the Vanderbilt Institute for Surgery and Engineering and Virtuoso Surgical.
