Laura Dugan, M.D., is the Abram C. Shmerling, M.D. Chair in Alzheimer’s and Geriatric Medicine and director of geriatric medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a neuroscientist, her primary research interests include cellular mechanisms of nerve injury and inflammation in the brain.
