How to Start Preparing

Develop a good sleep schedule.
A few weeks before school starts, set a consistent bedtime and sleep routine and stick with it every night.

Start your school-year routines early.
On school days, do your kids usually put the next day’s clothes out before going to bed? Do they get dressed before breakfast?

Rehearse the first day.
If your school allows it, take a trip to campus to walk the halls and check out the new classroom.
